Is this a good gaming external hard drive?

With my laptop's current 5400RPM hard drive, games load quite slow, specifically call of duty during the pre mission cut scenes, it gets to the point were i cant hear the breifing properly because it is skipping. Would this hard drive improve performance (ie no skipping videos or slowish loading) if i connect it to my laptop's eSata port and play games from it? How reliable is the brand?

Also, gameplay is not affected just the loading, but its irritating to have a video skip every 5 secs.....

  1. I have never heard of the brand. And newegg doesn't tell you what kind of drive it is using.

But, yes. A direct ESATA connection would significantly speed things up.
