hay guys, i am planning to buy a laptop with this videocard. do you think i'll be able to play a game that requires 128MB videocard that supports pixel shader3? and in what FPS? sorry, i don't really have an idea about this. thank you.

What game? That'll play the hell out of something like The World of Goo, but it'll choke massively on something like Crysis.

What game ? Its not just dowm to what the system requirements, some game engines will work better on differant GPU chips. So if you let us know the game we can answer more accuratly.

i'm actually talking about NBA 2k9 by 2K sports. it has the same system requirements as bioshock.

Well looking on the site i linked you to, the X1400(mobile) is the same chip technically as a X1300 (desktop) which is the minimum requirement card for your game.
Looking to compare the two i used the 3dm 05 results on the site.

3200 2591

Now these type of benchmarks cant be taken as gospel as like i said earlier some chips will run different games better than others. Given that its a new game and the 3200 is built using newer architecture than the 1400 it should handle the game better.

My personal assessment of the situation is that you should be able to play it but at lowish settings.
Having said that if it was me buying a laptop and i wanted it to play that game i would buy one with a better GPU.
