Hello!
I am planning on geting an Intel i7 920 and so I think I HAVE to buy this motherboard but I would like to know if it will be compatible with my graphics card, It's an ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2, can anyone help me out?

Oh, and also I think I NEED to buy DDR3 (say the words in caps loudly :3)

Your card will work fine in that motherboard, and yes, you will need to get DDR3 RAM. With that setup you will want to get a triple channel kit (sold in packs of 3).
