I found an old micron PC with an intel motherboard / pentium 3 chip / and maxed out memory. My goal is to run windows XP or possibly 7 on it, but it still runs slow as dirt with XP (which someone had loaded on it already). Is there a way I can overclock the memory and CPU on this motherboard? I have no experience with overclocking and I don't think this intel board supports a software overclocking option at least in the BIOs. I would be willing to blow up this machine or shorten its life if I could somehow get the results I wanted. It really does seem like an oversized paperweight.
