Hi

I'm using a Compaq 3970 with the 2002 OS and I am trying to convert some
DVD's to watch while travelling. I've done it before without any problems
but this time I have no sound.

I am using Windows encoder 9 on an XP machine to prepare the file. The file
works on the PC (picture and audio) but when I transfer it to the PDA all I
get is pictures. MP3s and WMA's all work fine.

My PDA has version 8 of media player and I wonder if there is an issue with
encoding with ver9 and playing on ver8. If so can I configure either one to
solve the problem?
