I just ordered a Sapphire HD 4870 graphics card, but there's one problem...
I don't have ANY 6-pin connectors out of the 2 the card needs to function, but I do have 2 spare molex connectors.
I've seen molex to 6-pin adapters which require 2 molex connectors, going to 1 6-pin connector.
BUT, I saw this adapter that had 1 molex going to 1 6-pin connector.
This was really good to see, because I could just buy 2 of these, and bombs away. Graphics card up and running. But I'm not sure that 1 molex is enough for 1 6-pin seeing as all the other adapters require 2 molex connections...
It would be good if it would work well but would enough power be going into the 6-pin connectors??
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, seeing as I would prefer to buy the suitable adapters in time for the graphics card
Thanks,
Airsoftspock.
P.S, I also have 1 unused floppy disk power connector, and 1
