Im building my first PC.
reading on the internet i found out there is incompatibility with my mobo and proc which has 780G chipset

I have a ECS BLACK SERIES A780GM-A mobo at my house which i guess i cant use
supposedly can only support proc's up to 95W TPD

i ordered a 9850 phenom x4 black edition
wattage is at 125W

i ordered 4gb ocz memory ddr2 1066
http://www.compusa.com/application [...] ET328ORDER

i ordered the following case with a 450W power supply (is this enough)

i want to setup raid, and have 3 PCI slots

just wondering what i should get for a motherboard thats cheap, and will work for my application
also do i neeed a better power supply
any recomendations guys?

I was actually considering buying the AMD cpu that you have a couple weeks ago.
The Mboard that I was considering to get for it was the MSI K9A2 Platinum.

yeah i will look into this board. i dont need the crossfire though. is this maybe overkill for me in that case? the price seems good.

i was gonna go intel dual core on this build with same mobo you have, then got this stupid mobo from work, and tried to build everything off of this amd quad core motherboard, only to read before i got everything shipped to me that it wont work.

if i keep this mboard, does anybody have a recomendations on any of the quad cores that work well with the 780g chipsets' tpd limit of 95W
