I have just installed a GF8100VM-M5 mother board, 750w Power supply, 4Gb ram a AMD 9500 CPU, now my monitor flickers like crazy at the same rate as the processor runs, if the processor slows the flicker slows & vis a vi, put my old sony back and the flicker stops. I only have the option of 60Hz refresh on the monitor, can the new MB really cause this conflict with the monitor? have I now got to invest in a new monitor? sounds crazy.

AT THE RISK OF SOUNDING VERY IGNORANT "CPU SPREAD SPECTRUM EMI" what is that? and is there a cure?
