I am learning and just need the facts right now...
NOT including anything but ink/toner for color copies
How much does it cost ( average per copy ) for
1. Laserjet color copy per page ?
2. Inkjet color copy per page ?

Also, multipurpose printers; How much more are they generally than the basic printers? Any drawbacks?

Thanks in advance....I am SO new at this !!!!

Errr, you're posting in the wrong section.

To get a specific figure, you have to do some online and offline research. Pick some printers that interest you, then try to find out how much the ink/toner cartridges cost and how many pages they're rated for. Getting the final cost is of course a matter of dividing the number of pages the cartridge or toner is rated for by the cost.

Obviously, MFPs cost more than their dedicated counterparts because they can do more. I've encountered now drawbacks with two printers I've used, the HP 1120MFP and the Canon MP140.
