Upgrade from 32 bit tom 48 bit

Hello Tom, How do i upgrade my bios from Bios system to 48 Bit. I have a ASUS 7NBX mother board and i purchaced a 1TB hard dirve and my comp doesn't see it and how do i enable the SATA in my Bios?

I can't find information on your motherboard.
If you have a link to the product that would be helpful.
For a 1 TB drive you are probably going to need a bios update from Asus.
You need to enable the SATA/RAID controller in the bios to use SATA.
If you use a RAID controller, you are going to need to install drivers for it to work.
Regular SATA ports do not need drivers.
