Is the side 80mm fan worth it in the CM 690?

Title. I've been thinking about getting the case, and it says it has a spot for a side 80mm behind the motherboard. Is it worth it to put a fan there or will it just make more noise?

I have a Centurion 590 that has that same fan mount spot, and I personally don't see any use for it, but then again, I have mine set up with that side up against the side of my desk, so there wouldn't be any airflow if I put a fan there.

Well it will make more noise depending on what fan you use, and I think it'll cool the CPU the most.

I had one in my 690 for a week or so - not a single degree of temperature change. But, it was a pretty low rpm fan.

Make sure that if you get one, it's not wider than 15mm or else it won't fit. It should exhaust air out of the case.
