While checking on the temperature of my Q6600, I ran Core Temp and found that the frequency was changing from 1600Mhz (266.67x6) to 2400Mhz (333.33x9) for no reason.

In fact it was mostly sitting on the 1600Mhz range.

I checked the BIOS and the frequency is set at 333x9.

Anyone know what the heck is happening?

Sorry the frequency's are not going up to 333 (sorry was thinking about OC'ing). All that is happening is it is changing from x6 to x9.

No idea why.
