Hello,
hard drive is not visible in the physical drive list. I was using my External HDD for almost 2months (500GB Western Digital). Suddenly the Drive missing. So i follow my friends guide to get the NTFS recover by luanching the "dtidata_partition_repair_tool.exe" but still doesn't work. Then try NTFS recovery which able to detect after about 12 hours of scanning. which it require me to pay about USD 100 to get the fix. So get my Laptop re image and now trying to get the NTFS recover the same way i did earlier but it doesn't even detect my exteranl HDD. Please Advice

There's two possibilities. Either the USB interface is dead or the drive itself is dead.

If you have a WD MyBook, they are really hard to disassemble nondestructively. So if the drive is still under warranty, you need to decide which is more valuable - the drive or the data on it.

In the hope that the USB interface is bad, you can disassemble the drive and plug the bare drive into your computer.

I removed the HDD from the casing and tested with another casing and still the same. My data are more important. before I reimage my Laptop the external Drive are able to read via NTFS Discovery Scan but now can't even see.

Try downloading the manufacturer of your hard disk diagnostic software from their web site.
