Hey guys, posting to get some tips on an upgrade.

Im after one of those new cards from nvidia, was thinking the gtx 260 (because the others are too expensive lol).

The main reason im changing is because my current card (8800 gt) is getting a bit too hot, and its a little old now.
Here is some info i would like:

-A benchmark possibly also including the 8800 gt so i can compare
-The power requirements for the card (i currently have a Seasonic S12 600W power supply)

Thanks for reading guys.

Edit: Here is a chart i found:

Nothing wrong with your 8800GT/9800GT/GTX 240, it is still a current card :p

What resolution are you gaming at and what are your system specs?

Are you happy with the current performance and just worried about the temps?
If so, I would recommend turning the fans speed up or getting an aftermarket cooler and calling it done.
The 'new' generation of nVidia cards brings absolutely nothing new to the table when compared to your current 8800GT/9800GT/GTX 240.

Your current PSU is a high quality unit and it will have no issues running any single card, or most multi card, setup(s) currently on the market.

The performance isnt bad... but its starting to show a little in new games. The number 1 problem is the temperature (this is the fault of both the card and the bad case airflow). Its peaking at 110 degrees...

Any luck finding me some benchmarks?

Thanks for the reply mate.
