Alright this is the first time I have built a computer. I have been reading some tutorials and things like that off this site. Any ways I have compiled a list of parts. If any of you guys could take a quick look through it and see if the parts are compatible with each other that would be awesome. Also feel free to offer advice/part suggestions. I would like to keep it under $1,000.

Go with this Mobo:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128359

Do not get a Raidmax PSU. Look at this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139005&Tpk=650tx

You can do a lot better for the money on the case:
http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0293547

Better CPU cooler:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233029&Tpk=S1283v

I would get the 1tb Caviar black drive:

And that ram that you accidently linked as the HDD is good :p

What OS are you going to use? Vista 64bit I hope. If you don't have one get this:

Great CPU. Make those changes and you are ready to go I think. Remember to get a Dvd drive if you don't have one.

I'd change the MB to GA-EP45-UD3R. Maybe even GA-Ep45-UD3P, but it's overkill with an nVidia card.

Change the PSU to a Corsair 650TX or 750TX.

SH-S223F is a decent burner.

Edit: LOL, I hadn't seen the above post, great minds think alike :)

Awesome advice, thanks. I updated every thing and fixed the hard drive.
