i bought a jade empire pc game from direct2download and it didnt work.now i know alot of people say the steam version work and they use it on windows 7 or windows vista but can i play jade empire (steam version) on windows xp pro?

How did it not work? My first guess is your directx isn't up to date. You may want to try this.

well i thought id already installed the right directx software,when i downloaded the game after the game installed i was directed to directx software and i was able to install it. well shortly after i did that i got a "send error report and dont send" popup when i tried playing it. its the direct2download version i got if you were wondering

maybe its direct2drive doing i mean i hear alot of people saying bad things about d2d and they lean towards the steam version
