My PSU sits at the top of my case. I just upgraded it recently and went from one with a fan that exhausted out the back to one that is mounted on the bottom of the PSU. My PSU sits directly above the 120mm exhaust fan of my case as well as my northbridge heat piping. I've noticed after long use the PSU is really hot on th rear grill of the PSU. My case exhaust fan doesn't seem to be blowing out much air now either. Could the PSU fan be exhausting more air than my case fan and will this hurt the psu? Sorry if noobie question. I'm just trying to get the airflow right again.

Both fan mountings do the same thing: circulate air through the PSU and out the back. There's nothing wrong with your air flow.
