Hey guys! I'm not an expert when it comes to RAM. I'm building my pc and I currently have an Asus Rampage Formula with an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450, a 1 Terabyte Seagate Barracuda, a Thermaltake Armor Case and a TruePower Quattro 1000W Antec power supply.
The thing is I live in Uruguay and we don't have many options here when it comes to choosing RAM sticks, so I asked a friend of mine that was coming from the states to bring me a pair of Corsair Dominator sticks but unluckily they don't work. They seem to be broken.
So I started to look around to see what I could buy here and the decision came down to 2 choices
Kingston (2x2GB PC 8500) KHX8500D2K2/4G 5-5-5-15
or
G Skill (2x2GB PC 8500) F2-8500CL6D-4GBNQ 1066 Mhz 6-6-6-18
I personally never used G Skill before but maybe its good.
The other thing is that the latency on the G Skill is higher so i'm thinking the Kingston might be a better choice. But again, I'm no expert so I'm not really sure which one to choose.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance
Regards
Juan Ignacio
