Hey guys. As pointed out in another thread, I need a graphics card but don't have the power ability for something like a 4830.

So I was recommended the 4670.

However, I NEED to buy it at Best Buy, where they have all PNY, BFG and Nvidia branded cards on sale. I also have $40 dollar reward zone.

Id like to buy this card today... can anyone recommend a good card for my system?

I have PCI>16x, and a AMD Quad Core 9150e Processor, on an HP A6700y

if you have to buy from best buy heres my suggestions.....

but if you compare to BestBuy's price to NewEgg's its really not even close....

Best Buy = $150
NewEgg = Approx. $100 after tax and shipping, but has a $20 mail-in rebate.

So your looking at a potential $70 more if you buy it from BestBuy buts its up to you.

I like those too... except they arent on sale! LOL

Is the 4650 512mb going to be MUCH worse than the 4670 1gb?

UGH - Also I only have a 300w power supply... so the 4650 says it requires 350w!

This sucks! :(

I don't need the BEST Graphics card, just something decent!

There are a few reasons I'd prefer to buy from Best Buy:

1. I use cash mostly.
2. I like brick and mortar stores because I can return it if I need to
3. I have $40 dollars in reward zone money.

That being said, I do have a local COMPusa that I can buy at, and also has the same prices as Tigerdirect.com , but I cannot guarantee they will have anything in!

The 4650 is noticably less of a card than the 4670 is.
