I760 / P55A-UD3 Tags: CPUs Overclocking Last response: October 3, 2010 4:14 AM in Overclocking Share plum October 3, 2010 2:06:36 AM So I recently built a new rig and I'm trying to figure out as much as I can about overclocking before throwing myself at it. First off, the CPU is a i5 760, Mobo is a Gigabyte p55a-ud3 (rev 2.0 http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=...), ram are Mushkins 2 x 4gb 1333mhz. I'm trying to find out what my stock voltage is. I checked in the bios, under MB Intelligent Tweaker, at the very bottom I have: V core 1.68 V DRAM Voltage 1.568 Inside MB Intelligent Tweaker, I also have a lot of Advanced features, one of them being Advanced Voltage Settings. Inside that, I see: CPU V core 1.21875 V This is where I'm lost, which one is the stock voltage for 2.8ghz? Here's my cpu at idle without any tweaking: And this is where I tried the Easy Tune 6 OC'ing feature called Turbo 2 : CPU 3.15ghz / BCLK 150mhz http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1416684 I got 3.3ghz instead though, different multiplier? Temps: http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/5704/temps.gif Based on all this, is it possible to determinate if I got a good chip?
