Could someone please advise if my Asus M3A-H/HDMI motherboard will allow two HD4870's in crossfire i know its got crossfire on it but i read somewhere that only certain cards are compatable. If i can, my main card is in the pciex16 slot and this is the only x16 slot wont installing it in a normal pcie slot reduce the perfomance. Any help apreciated thanks Paul.

It's not physically possible to install a 2nd 4870 PCI-e video card on your motherboard.

What it has got is "Hybrid CrossFireX". It can use the onboard HD 3200 graphics chip and a PCI-e HD 3400 Series (HD 3450 for example) for added GPU power. Hybrid CrossFireX
