So I have a Inspiron 530 from Dell. I have(had) a g33/g31 chipset family pre-installed when i bought the computer.
I'm also running 64-bit Vista.
So now that I'm into gaming, I bought an nVidia 8600 GT and i'm trying to install but, but im going crazy!
I installed the graphics card into the computer just fine, and also installed the latest drivers for the card on nvidia's web, but when i restart the computer afterwards,
a blue screen pops up and dumps "physical memory" for 2 seconds really quick, then reboots AGAIN. but this time, it kinda gets pixelated and freezes up at the login place.
