I have a nforce4ma mobo that my son tried to install himself and he shorted the 3.3v supply on main power cable pin1 down to the case. it now wont boot at all. checked power supply,ram cpu and graphics card in other pc and all work ok.can any one please help me to repair the board.

If your board is socket 939, check ascendtech or 3b tech for replacements. Ascendtech carries the ecs KN1 SLI Lite v1.0a for $99.99. Repairing a board is rarely an option. It's usually just as cheap to replace it.
