The 7850 is o.k, but it runs pretty hot. While the Athlon II X2 and Phenom II X2 are better options the 7850 is good on a budget build with a decent 780G or 770 based board.

Who doesn't overclock these days tho? The E5200 is as easy to overclock as the E8500
I don't overclock very high for customers first of all. Second of all, a processor at 3.0 Ghz+ does not necessarily need overclocking to perform well with a single GPU. Also if you factor in the extra cost of an aftermarket cooler required to overclock past 3.0 Ghz then the E5200 will be more expensive than the 7850 by a good bit, so they can't be compared.
Also the E5200 is not as easy to overclock as the E8500. The E5200 is much more sensitive about FSB, and therefor is a bit more difficult to overclock than the E8500.
Looks like the 7850 will be my new budget CPU for future builds.
i like my new 7850, besides having some probs with my bios its a great lil cpu, the prob with my bios comes from my mobo nothing to do with my cpu im working on that prob on another thread on general motherboard so im not gonna get into it here and get off topic
well either way its not like i cant afford 10 dollars more so w/e theyre both the same, argument quelled get the 7750 if u feel and if you choose to be retarded like me then go 7850
not saying you are retarded. Calling AMD retarded for releasing another black edition so close to the current 7750 that is basically the same chip just different multi that is unlocked anyway.
