I am finally upgrading from my 19" viewsonic professional series CRT to a flat panel. So, I am used to some really stunning color depth and brightness. Of course I want to get something as cheap as possible but I am willing to buy the best or close to the best in class. The hole in my desk that I can fill is 20" tall by 28" wide. I am definitely not willing to go over $400. $200-$300 would be best, or cheaper is fine too of course. I have started looking at 22 and 24 inch monitors. Bigger would be fine too but I don't see how it would fit into my budget. This monitor will be for gaming primarily but I will also be picking up a TV tuner card will want to watch HD movies on it too this will save having to have a TV in the same room. Still, gaming is primary. Looking for color depth, brightness and high crystal refresh rate. Bang for the buck is always a high priority for me as well. Don't need the absolute best when something at 1/2 the price is 95% as good.

Ok, ideas?

Also, I will be running two PNY 9600 GSO OC 768M in SLI.

I'm using an Acer 22" wide screen and it's great. Newegg has it for $170.00. You may want to check it out.
