I am thinking about buying an ASUS PCI-e sound card. It is for a 1x PCI-e slot. If my 1x slots are in interence with the graphic card, I assume I can use either a 8x or 16x slot that is available. Only one 4890 graphic card is used. The 8x and 16x slot key seems correct. I assume the slot will drop to 1x data rate with the 1x audio card installed. Let me know where I am right or wrong. Thanks, Vince

Your right you should be able to just drop the card in and it should work.
