Fan speed software

I think I posted here a while ago about temps on my video card and my overall computer. People suggested I try this software forgot the name but it bypasses any existing software for the fans and puts them at a true 100% speed. I was wondering if anyone knows this software name or anything like it. Thank you in advance.

the software was able to individually increase the fans, and it knew which fans were the video card, stuff like that, it had all sorts of options to change but i really just used it for the fans
