Windows run commands screen display problem

When I use the RUN command the small screen appears briefly and then closes, giving me no time to read it. I'm trying to use IPCONFIG. I need a way to make sure the answer screen doesn't close. Can anyone help?

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

You're entering the command in to the Open box having hit Start and gone to Run. That's why you're seeing the correct form flash past your eyes.

Either simply type cmd and press Enter to bring up the Command form and type the ipconfig command in there or, to make it work in the Run/Open box, type

cmd /k ipconfig /all

(including all the spaces) and press Enter.
