Pardon the noob question, but if you have a dual core should task manager show two CPU usage panes. I was just reading an article and a quad showed 4 panes. I am at work (single cored processor) at the moment, I will check... but I don`t remember my task manager showing two panes?

When you go to the performance tab it should have two panes for cpu usage, one for each core.
