I read other suggestions posted herein and nothing so far has worked.
My problem: My PC (Windows XP) can see and access "Public Folder" on Laptop (Vista) but no other files on the "C" Drive. I want my entire "C" Drive folders on laptop available from my desktop. I get the "Access Denied" warning when I try to access folders other than the "Public" folder.
Now, the strange thing is that my entire PC Desktop is accessable from my laptop. Public folder and everything else.

I Checked all sharing settings, Network names the same, etc.

I am using Linksys 150. Desktop direct wire to Router. Laptop is Wireless.

Thanks for suggestions.

My laptop is Vista Home. My PC is Windows XP SP2. I only use Avast as a firewall, and I turned that off on both PC and Laptop.

I also turned off Windows Firewall. Thanks anyway.
