I installed a new motherboard last night, only to find that i cant get anything to boot. Ive gone into the BIOS setup and made my disk drive the primary boot location, but that didnt work. I completley disconeccted my hard drive and tried to boot the Cd drive, but that didnt work either. Anyone have an idea what i could be doing wrong? Thanks.
Did you connect the power supply leads to your drives? Sata cables sometimes come off easily and don't stay put. I would also read your motherboard manual and see if they suggest a particular sata port to use.

Is your CD drive SATA or IDE. If it's IDE, switch the data cable over to the secondary IDE connector if it's now connected to the Primary IDE, or vice versa.
Also, do the HD and CD drive show up in the BIOS at all?l
