Looks like you did your homework. Only thing I have to say is to be aware you will not be able to SLI in the future with that motherboard. If you had been hoping to throw in another card a few months down the line you should swap the 260 c216 with a 4870 1GB.

I'd suggest 2 things:

a) get a bigger cooler

HSF suggestion: XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler - Retail $36.99 - $10.00 MIR = $26.99 (more cooling, lower cost, Save $10)

b) get a better video card: either go with -

SAPPHIRE 100259-1GL Radeon HD 4870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail $199.99 - $10.00MIR = $189.99 (save a little)

or

SAPPHIRE 100260SR Radeon HD 4850 X2 1GB 512-bit (2 x 256-bit) GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail $259.99 (splurge a little more)

I'd personally go with the $4870, save $50, and put it with the $10 from the cooler toward 4GB more RAM or a 2nd HDD.

Looks nice tho. Good luck

Unless you plan on running Crossfire, that mobo is a overkill. Same with the psu. ...no Crossfire unless your running ATI cards, and you have an Nvidea card posted up there. So save yourself some money if your going with a single card. Try to stay away from "push pin heatsinks" if you can. Check out this Xigmatek on here. This memory down below clocks like a dream, and its on the cheap...great timings and low latency not to mention it's low voltage. The monitor down below is the same size and resolution as the one you chose, but it has a much better response time. As far as your burner goes...does anyone actually use "light scribe"?

+1 for those vid cards....great deals for the price. :)

That Xigmatek is a bust without the retention bracket. It's huge to begin with...great for hardcore overclockers though, but it really needs that bracket to make it work to it's full potential...not to mention push pins are a pain in the arse. Also some thermal compound... MX-2, arctic silver, etc....

Thanks guys for your input.
I'm going with "why-me" inputs, will keep the case and the CPU will be Intel Q6600. :bounce:
Afterall, i'm not going sli/crossfire, just to play games and surf the net.
