The hard drive controller went on my motherboard. who's fault is it, the motherboard manufacturer or the hard drive controller chip brand?

Are you sure it's not the hardrive? For warranty, go to the motherboard manufacturer and request an rma online.

warrenty is expired. well, i'm not sure if it's not the hard drives. but i don't know if 3 would break at the same time...plug i heard them power on and stuff.
