Bought a new motherboard, windows won't boot

Hello,
i have xp, i bought a mobo and installed it. i boot the system and i get a bsod 0x7b . i don't have a cd to reinstall windows but i have a i386 directory. i can't get into safemode , it reboots on mup.sys . i don't know what to do, i'm at my wits end with this stupid machine.

i can provide as much information as is needed about my system, but i don't really know what to do with this situation

You need a Windows XP CD to do a Repair installation of XP.
