Sadly due to living in the U.K. I can't buy from newegg so I have to pay more than necessary to start my new project. my budget is around £700 and this falls around £722... but i am willing to make adjustments

Is this a solid build or should I reconsider... I am open to suggestions and for reference, I have a monitor, keyboard and mouse and I was thinking of recycling an old DVD rewriter from my previous system

Hi... :)
Well get the new Phenom X3 720, heard they are very gud in overclocking and far better than the old Phenoms(even better than the 9950)...

U will get them for about the same price or mayb less...rest all looks perfect...And as for the mobo go for the 790GX or the 790X which has the Southbridge SB750...they only have the ACC opton, which helps in stable overclocking of the Phenoms...and are newer...

That is an AM3 socket on the motherboard and your CPU is an AM2. It also requires DDR3 ram and you have DDR2... Might be a problem.
