Gigabyte GA-M720-US3

Hi all

First time poster here so please be gentle...

I have recenlty purchased a Gigabyte GA-M720-US3 motherboard.

I have all the components to connect onto it in except the memory......and boy is it confusing me.

The board can take upto 16gb of DDR2 memory. I however only require 8gb (as I will be doing lots of video editing in the near future) and I will be running a 64bit operating system.

I have looked at memory on various websites....including those recommended by Gigibyte....to no avail. Can some one simply explain what memory I require as I'm finding it hard to locate some PC2-6400 1.8v memory modules.

Also, could some advise what problems could occur if I was to install memory that requiredd 2.1v on this board?
