Xigmatek S1283 and Core i7

This is why I dont post my builds, I do lots of research before buying anything. + I am a personal "fanboy", no pun intended, of the zalman 9700, it cools my I7 @ 3.8ghz . I only give advise on what I have and nothing else. If everybody else stuck to that you would not have been mislead. Now if someone post a build with that cooler IT UP TO YOU TO STOP THEM hahahahaha

Exactly what doesn't work? Did you buy the bolt in kit (sold separately) for putting the S1283 on the i7??

The Dark Night S1283V is the one I lean toward recommending now because it doesn't have the pushpins and includes all the backplates. One stop shopping.
