Well guys I have a crappy computer and am wondering what kind of games I would be able to play and at what settings and with what fps.

Specs:

Pentium 4 HT 3.06 ghz
3.5 gb ram
8600GT 256mb GDDR3
vista home basic 32bit

Please list game names with the FPS you think I would get and at what settings.

Well my crystal balls are being polished right now, so why don't you download a few demo's and do your own research?

You might get an idea from this:

prognosis is not favorable for good gameplay.

I suggest civilization-2 which does not depend on FPS.

starcraft, unreal tournament 2004, warcraft 3, counterstrike, counterstrike source, call of duty, F.E.A.R. (no expansions), call of duty 1 & 2

can't tell you the fps on these games, you would have to see for yourself

all that ram you have in there is pretty much a waste unless you have a 64bit OS, which you dont. i would also try xp on that, you might get a little better speed out of it.

lol with those specs you are lucky if you play any dx titles on low,mine sweeper is your best bet here

There are alot of kids on this site, but you should be able to play WoW3 w/all expansions with medium settings seeing how a friend of mine had it playing with low setting on a Dell GX150 Pent.III 1.2GHz with 512 pc133, you should be able to play CoD4 with low settings which is better than a PS2 and Xbox 360 @ 1024x768 60Hz. Better than nothing thou. Dont let these ppl get you down, this place is there life, without Tom's they would be on myplace or facecrap.
