Hi All,
Apologies for the cross post but this seems to span a couple of
categories.
We are attempting to port an application to the iPAQ rx3715. This
device features an integrated camera for which there is currently no
published API. HP plan to release a Camera SDK "in the near future".
We have found, however, that the device is shipped with the library
"\Windows\HPCamApi.dll", which appears to export several methods for
controlling the camera.
Has anyone managed to use this API? Any example code, documentation,
or parameter lists for the exported methods would be gratefully
received.

You don't happen to know if it's the HP Photosmart camera but embedded
into the device ? The reason I ask is that Veo (the manufacturers of
the photosmart SD cam which HP sell) have an API documentation on
their site http://www.veo.com/downloads/downl [...] re=sdk130S
It's a long shot but it might-just-work. Take a look at the EXIF data
from saved JPEGs from the camera for clues to the make/brand, or
install MS Portrait and see if it can detect & use it as a Photosmart
camera.
Cheers - Neil
