Im getting an INTEL E8400, and here where i live, mobos with P45 / P43 chipsets are or too dificult to find or too expensive, and i dont like buying by internet

so, i wanted to know, which are the cons of getting old mobos (like INTEL DG35EC or ASUS P5KPL ) for this E8400?

thx!

Well from what I've heard the P5kPL can't boot off IDE hdd's.

Also older chipsets only support fsb's upto 1333mhz so no overclocking for you.

Also Buying on the 'net is fine, and most of the time it's cheaper too and if you buy from a good etailer then you won't have to worry.
