  1. You can pick up a HD4670 for around $70. It needs no extra power cables as it draws all its power from the Motherboard. Its pretty much made for people in your position.

    Mactronix
  2. Go to TigerDirect.com and go to the video card section. From there go to how much RAM you want it to have ad sort it by price low to hi. Find the first one that requires a 300 watt power supply and have fun. Don't expect much though.

The 4670 is the best card you can get in this situation.
  4. Yes the 4670 is the king of the mid power video cards. Next step up would be the 4830, which would need the power adapter, which uses 110w. The 4670 uses 70w. The 4650 only uses 55w but at a noticable performance loss.

    SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4670 512MB 128-bit GDDR4 $79, $69 after MIB.

Most 4670's are around $80 but this is the only one with GDDR4 and its by Sapphire, a reputable brand. All good reviews too.
