I've got a 32gb ssd drive and a 1 tb western digital sata drive...

Should i put the OS in a partition on the 1tb drive and my more mem intensive programs on the SSD (audio recording)...or should I put the OS on the 1tb drive?

I'm also thinking about ubuntu also in a partition.

What configuration makes the most sense/quickest?

Wait a second... did you ask whether you should put your OS on the 1TB... or the 1TB...?
