I bought 2 2GB DDR2-SDRAM, SO-DIMM (PC2-5300) RAM modules for my Lenovo 3000 N200. They where recognized by the BIOS (I think so, beacuse the bios-screen showed the correct memory-size), but the Computer halted after the the mouse check (or, at least, that was the last message or the second last, sometime it said) and refused to boot (it didn't boot neither from hdd nor from a CD). After I replaced the new one withe the old one, the computer booted without problems.
Do you know what caused this mess and how to correct this?

Not familar with your system, but here goes with the "standard" response I've seen!

Try booting with a single stick of the new RAM.

Look in BIOS for a Voltage setting for the RAM - it may be set too high or too low. You can chk the voltage in Windows with a program like SiSoftware Sandra and CPUz.

If you reply, I'll try to add more or someone else may get on it!

Never heard of that brand TEAM Group or whatever. MOBO doesnt like it. Try diff brand. I have stacks of that Hynix stuff sitting all around me. It comes in most Dells and bigbox brands. I would try toget my hands on either more of the Hynix or something like Corsair or Samsung.

It could also be bad ram. If its screwing up when it boots into windows. Either way i would get a new stick of a different "non budget" brand.
