i been thinking about getting a 285gtx overclocked version to run with my e6300 cpu.. right now my e6300 (1.8ghz) is clocked at 3.0 ghz. i use 800mhz corsair ram but i just ordered some g.skill 1066 ram hoping to push my e6300 to 3.4+ghz with the new ram, i think it is my 800mhz ram that wont let me get past 3ghz. anyways how would a 285gtx run with a 3.0ghz core 2 duo?? do you think my cpu will hold it back alot?? i really want to play crysis1 and warhead maxed out, i dont care for aa's that much. i game at 1920 x 1200 on a 24inch mva panel monitor (westinghouse 2410nm).

my specs are:
core 2 duo 3.0ghz (e6300)
2 x 2gb gskill 1066mhz ram
320gb 7200 rpm sata II hd
evga 8800gts 640mb
pc power and cooling 750 watter powersupply
vista 64bit home premium
asus p45 p5q se/r mother board (my 680i is dead)
antec 900
24inch 1920 x 1200 mva panel monitor (westinghouse 2410nm)

cliffs:
is the 285gtx worth it for my rig?
