Good Afternoon,

I am having audio issues. The problem originally was that everytime I rebooted I would have to reinstall sound card drivers to get the audio working, no big deal. But just one day it decided to not work at all anymore. If I do not disable the on board sound card in the BIOS then all my programs will start freezing. I noticed that displaying hidden and ghost items in the device manager there are 3 Plug And Play Software Device Enumerators and 3 Microsoft Kernel Audio Splitter, DLS Synthesizer, Etc. The only non-duplicated ones are the System Audio Device, Streaming Clock Proxy, Streaming Service Proxy, and WINMM WDM Audio Compatibility Driver. I have never noticed this before until recently. It leads me to believe that all these duplicates are causing the drivers to conflict. If I uninstall the duplicates they will eventually just refresh and put themselves back. Is there a fix to this scenario? A way to remove duplicate PnP Enumerators? Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance!
