hey not sure...but is this mobo, or any mobo, able to connect to the internet wireless or do i need to get a separate wireless adapter?

motherboards dont connect wirelessly (especially this one) you do have to get a wireless adapter through usb since it doesnt mention a pci port for a pci card.

Get a PCI wifi card, the MB has 2 PCI slots that will support one, and use that. USB is an option, but if you plan on gaming over the internet (most Toms posters seem to) then in my experience USB wifi introduces an extra bit of unwanted lag (higher ping)*.

it's not the cheapest on newegg but linksys are owned by Cisco these days so compatibility is pretty much guaranteed. Failing that check the comaptibility list for you wireless router.


*Actually that higher-ping-with-USB may not be gospel - anyone else found this or have I just had bad luck with hardware choices?
