Hi everyone,
I would like to reset the global environment variables in WinXP Pro for the user and the system with a batch file.
The specific 2 variables I am talking about are resetting TMP and TEMP from the typical c:\documents and settings\%userprofile%\local settings\ and c:\windows\temp to something else.
Would anyone know a way to do this?
I have searched for a while and found you can do it with winset.exe on win9x and setx.exe on win2000. And I know you can do it with kixstart or whatever its called, but I would prefer not to have to spend the time to learn an entirely different scripting language I will likely never use again.
