I'm running and amd x2 4200+ on an asus m3a. I've gotten like 3 blue screens in a week, I just changed the mobo from an asus m2n-e for i was planning on grabbing a cheap am2+ in the future. I've heard of this mobo overheating and I was curious if it was likely that it was the cpu overheating, caused by the mobo. Twice it was when my psp crashed while connected to it, and once it crashed when I quit l4d. Is there a good chance it's not the mobo? (i've got the latest bios on it)

I solved the problem, and perhaps the guess in your second comment says more about your intelligence level. Also, one doesn't have to be a psychic to perhaps know the most common causes of an issue, give general pointers, or have previous experiences or knowledge of one or both of same products.

What was the problem if you don't mind (and how did you solve it), just in case someone comes across this post later with similar symptoms. I'm glad you got it figured out.
