Generally refers to the passphrase required to access a router which has wireless security enabled from a computer which has a wireless adapter.

If the router has been supplied by your internet provider, the passphrase may be included in the paperwork that came when you joined. Some providers write the passphrase on a label on the router.

If you've lost the passphrase you can access the router via an ethernet cable between the computer and router and disable wireless security and (preferably) add your own passphrase instead.

Suggest you read the stuff that came with the router (perhaps a help file on disc if they supplied a CD) or download the router manual from the manufacturer's website.
