I just got a brand new Phenom I 9600 and I was to stress test it with Prime95. Question, do I have to have 4 instances of Prime95 running in order to strees test this quad core? Or can I can just run 4 "workers" with only 1 instance of Prime95 (using the lastest release of Prime95)? I'm not quite sure what "workers" are in this program.

Thanks

each worker is its own thread, each thread runs on one of your cores, so you only need one instance of prime95 open

So long as you have v225 (IIRC) or higher its multi-threaded, so only need to open the program once, it will launch 4 workers.
